Conduct and Discipline

Responsibility for Conduct

Students are held responsible for their conduct both within and outside the school premises. The school expects students to uphold the values and principles of good behavior in all aspects of their lives.

Damage to Property

Any damage to school property, including furniture, library books, and sports materials, will be treated seriously. Students found responsible for such damage may be required to pay fines to cover the cost of repairs or replacements.

Consequences for Misconduct

Lack of punctuality, disobedience, disrespect, and engagement in morally questionable activities may lead to dismissal from the school. Upholding discipline is essential to maintaining a positive and conducive learning environment.

Prohibition of Vandalism

Students are strictly forbidden from writing or scribbling on walls, throwing paper, or sprinkling ink around the classroom. Respect for the school's infrastructure is crucial to fostering a clean and organized learning environment.

Language Policy

English is the only language permitted within the school campus. This policy aims to promote a consistent language medium for communication and academic purposes.

Attendance and Parental Responsibility

Parents are responsible for ensuring that their wards do not absent themselves from school except under unavoidable circumstances. In case of an emergency, parents can meet teachers with prior permission from the Principal.

Parent-Teacher Meetings

Parents are encouraged to meet with the Principal on Tuesdays at 3:30 p.m. to discuss their child's progress and address any concerns. These meetings provide a valuable opportunity for effective communication between parents and school authorities.

Restrictions on Parent Entry During School Hours

Parents are kindly requested not to enter the school premises during regular school hours. This policy is in place to maintain a focused and secure learning environment for the students.

Punctuality Requirement

Students are expected to be on campus by 9:00 a.m. without fail. Punctuality is an essential aspect of good discipline and ensures the smooth functioning of the school day.

These conduct and discipline guidelines are established to create a positive and respectful atmosphere within Cauvery Global School. The cooperation of students and parents in upholding these standards is crucial for maintaining a harmonious and effective educational environment.
